Responsibilities
Tasks
Greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services they wish to purchase.
Advise customers on the use, care, and benefits of merchandise, including specialized products or services.
Provide information on return policies and other relevant details.
Operate cash registers and other point-of-sale equipment accurately and efficiently.

Assist with the display and organization of merchandise to ensure an appealing presentation.
Maintain accurate sales records and support inventory control processes.
Operate computerized systems for inventory tracking, record keeping, and re-ordering stock.
May conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce platforms.
Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming retail environment.
