Auto Body Estimator

Overview

Lift Auto Group – CSN Valleyview is looking for a Full-Time Auto Body Estimator (NOC 72411)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Prepare accurate and complete repair estimates by following the company’s Estimate Triage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring all required documentation, photos (including Loss Assessment Guideline photos), and parts ordering procedures are completed correctly.

·         Estimate repair cost based on damage examination report

·         Schedule customers for repair according to Nexsyis scheduling tool

·         Prepare and manage customer folder, from start to finish, in Nexsyis including leaving notes and updating dates during contact points

·         Ensure all repairs have hardcopies of customers authorizations prior to commencing repairs

·         Proactively manage customers’ expectations throughout repair process, including status updates, expected completion date, etc

·         Prepare paperwork required for the delivery of the vehicle to customer and pre close folder

·         Perform final quality control check after final detail

·         Review final documents with customer at delivery. Obtain required signatures and deductibles

·         Inspect repaired vehicles

·         Professionalism in customer service

·         Clean and maintain work space .

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2 years of relevant automotive experience

·         Comprehensive understanding of the entire repair process including body, prep and paint processes

·         In depth knowledge of management system and estimating software

·         Understanding of parts requirements and ordering procedures for all insurance companies

·         Complete understanding of insurance companies’ policies and processes

·         Strong communication and customer service skills

·         Reports to Location Manager

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities and move them up or down in terms of importance depending on store goals and obligations to

·         customers

·         Language in the workplace is English
