Food Counter Attendants

Overview

Wendy’s (Penticton) is looking for twelve (12) Full-Time Food Counter Attendants (NOC 6711-D)! This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week at $ 18.25 per hour, with extended health benefits after 3 months of employment.

Job Description:

Take customers’ orders
Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food
Use equipment to prepare beverages
Serve customers at counters
Stock refrigerators and keep records of the quantities of food used
Receive payment for food items purchased
Keep workplace clean, sweep and mop floors
Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
Working days are 5 days a week with varying shifts. Shift scheduling includes weekend, day, late evening, and mid-night shifts.
Job Requirements:

On-the-job training is provided
Previous experience in food service is an asset
Language in the workplace is English
