Interior Systems Mechanics

Overview

Villaguer Construction Ltd is looking for three (3) Full-Time Interior Systems Mechanics (NOC 73102)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $30.00/hour.

Job Description:

·         Prepare wall and ceiling layouts

·         Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools

·         Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets

·         Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation

·         Utilize laser alignment system

·         Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets

·         Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in lather, drywall OR apprenticeship training

·         Language in the workplace is English. Basic English is ok

Various sites in the Okanagan area. Office located in Kelowna, BC, Canada V1Y 2Z5
