Master Barbers

Overview

Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop Unity Square is looking for four (4) Full-Time Master Barbers (NOC 63210)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $36.00/hour, with benefits.

Job Description:

·         Perform advanced hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences, hair type, and facial structure.

·         Provide expert beard and moustache shaping, shaving, and grooming services using both traditional and modern techniques.

·         Recommend personalized hair and scalp treatments based on detailed analysis of hair condition, scalp health, and client needs.

·         Mentor and supervise junior barbers or apprentices, ensuring quality control and adherence to professional grooming standards.

·         Stay up-to-date with current trends, techniques, and products in men’s grooming and hair care to offer informed style recommendations.

·         Maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation in the barbering area, including tools, equipment, and workstations.

·         Consult with clients to understand their grooming goals and deliver consistent, high-quality service that enhances client satisfaction and retention.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of barbering experience

·         Ontario Hairstylist Trade Certificate or ability to obtain one

·         Must be willing to come in and do a test cut

·         Language in the workplace is English
