Barbershop Assistant Manager

Overview

Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop – Siyanda is looking for two (2) Full-Time Barbershop Assistant Managers (NOC 60040)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Assist Manager in overseeing daily operations of the barbershop to ensure smooth and efficient service.

·         Support in implementing and enforcing shop policies and procedures among staff.

·         Help monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

·         Address customer inquiries or minor complaints, escalating larger issues to the Manager.

·         Assist with the coordination and execution of marketing and promotional activities.

·         Support in staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring under the Manager’s guidance.

·         Step in to perform barbering services such as haircuts and styling when required.

·         Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.

·         Serve as acting Manager in the Manager’s absence, ensuring continued leadership and stability.

As needed, cut and style hair and perform related services.
Job Requirements:

·         2-3 years of experience as a Barber, with some supervisory experience

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         Paid service dollars and tips; or guaranteed minimum salary of $54,000 annually; whichever is greater.

·         Gratuities, commission on products sold
