Shop Supply Manager

Overview

Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop Kamloops Summit Centre Mall is looking for a Full-Time Shop Supply Manager (NOC 60020)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30 hours per week.

Job Description:

Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of retail/service sales departments at Tommy Gun’s Kamloops
Manage staff and assign duties
Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operations on sales
Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff
Job Requirements:

·         3 years of experience in customer service/retail, with some supervisory experience

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         Paid service dollars and tips; or guaranteed minimum salary of $54,000 annually; whichever is greater.

·         Gratuities, commission on products sold
