Overview

The Blind Angler Grill is looking for a Full-Time Food Services Manager (NOC 60030)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of Blind Angler Grill’s back of house operations

·         Determine food production methods and implement operational procedures

·         Recruit staff and oversee staff training in food preparation, sanitation and safety procedures

·         Set back-of-house staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

·         Control food inventory, monitor food costs and modify procedures to minimize waste and improve efficiency

·         Ensure food quality, portion control and presentation standards are maintained

·         Resolve operational issues and ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen

·         Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other kitchen supplies

·         Coordinate kitchen activities with front-of-house operations to ensure efficient service

·         Oversee maintenance, cleanliness and safety of kitchen equipment and facilities.

Job Requirements:

·         Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer

·         $60,000 annual salary
