Building Maintenance Worker

Super 8 Kelowna is looking for a Full-Time Building Maintenance Worker (NOC 73201)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs

·         Respond to requests from guests and other departments for maintenance and minor repairs

·         Perform daily inspections on the building systems

·         Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair

·         Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment

·         Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment

·         Cut grass and tend grounds and plants

·         Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2 years of related hotel experience (maintenance or housekeeping)

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
