Overview
Sun-Rype Products in Kelowna, BC, is looking for five (5) Full-Time Technical Operators (NOC 94140)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
· Efficiently operate all equipment connected with the Preparation Department.
· Monitor equipment to achieve maximum throughput and yield.
· Maintain quality standards and perform other duties as required.
· Responsible for the continuous flow of juices and nectars to the packaging lines and processing of other products as required.
· Accurately measure ingredients and /or materials in the production of juices and other process.
· Record material usage, lot information and other required documentation accurately to ensure compliance with Company and/or government standards.
· Company and government standards and procedures concerning sanitation are to be followed and maintained.
Job Requirements:
Previous experience (6 months) in operating industrial equipment.
Successfully pass an aptitude test
Successfully pass a physical fitness, drug & alcohol screening tests, reference, and background checks.
Excellent communication skills
Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
Be able to work Monday – Friday
Be able to work overtime and weekend shifts (periodically scheduled)
Be available to work all 3 shifts (days, afternoon, graveyard)
· Join Teamsters Union
· Language in the workplace is English
We offer:
· $32.09 to start, to $34.09 per hour with wage increases directed as per CBA
