Overview

Sorrento Village Grocer is looking for a full-time Sushi Chef (NOC 62200) to join our growing team! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week. Wage is $25.00/hour with dental and medical insurance benefits.

Job Description:

Prepare sushi, sashimi, and cook Japanese/Asian dishes and foods
Cut and prepare fish, seafood, vegetables
Estimate food requirements, check inventory levels and monitor and order supplies
Create new sushi dishes or specials
Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
Principal set up and break-down of kitchen and cleaning.
Clean kitchen and work area.
Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2-3 years of experience commercial food preparation

·         Must have knowledge of sushi preparation

·         Language in the workplace is English
