Grease Trap Service Technician – Night Shift

Overview

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service is looking for a Full-Time Grease Trap Service Technician/Driver – Night Shift (NOC 73300)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week.

Job Description:

• Drive grease trap trucks

• Empty grease traps at various food service locations from grocery stores to restaurants

• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading

• Remove accumulated grease, fats, oils, and food debris from grease traps

Job Requirements:

• Driver’s license required – Class 1, 3 or 5 with air brakes preferred

• Must be willing to work overnight shifts

• Must be reliable and work well within a team

• Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs.

• On-the-job training is provided

• Language in the workplace is English

Benefits:

• Hourly wage of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour

• Bonuses for Christmas

• Potential wage increases with experience, length of service, additional licences

• Extended benefits after 3 months: dental, extended medical, sick pay

Job Location:

Various client sites in Kelowna, BC and surrounding areas. May be asked to travel around interior BC. Office located at 2175 Bonn Rd, Kelowna, BC V1V 2E7.
