Family Caregiver

Overview

Ripley Family is looking for a Full-Time Family Caregiver (NOC 44101)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $24.34/hour.

Job Description:

·         Provide general care, companionship, and support to adult and teenage family members

·         Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals; assist with groceries, kitchen organization, and clean-up

·         Maintain cleanliness of the home, including regular housekeeping (kitchen, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, laundry, and general tidying)

·         Support overall household organization, including managing supplies and keeping shared spaces in order

·         Help maintain daily routines, including reminders for medications and appointments

·         Accompany family members to school, appointments, and activities as needed

·         Support a calm, structured, and safe home environment

·         Work collaboratively with the family to support overall well-being

·         Observe and communicate any notable changes in health, mood, or behavior

·         Provide occasional assistance to older adults in the household with day-to-day needs

·         Assist with outdoor or farm-related tasks (e.g., gardening, egg collecting) as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

·         Completion of a training program in care of the elderly, care of persons with disabilities, convalescent care or in a related field

·         Minimum 1 years of home management experience

·         Language in the workplace is English
