Overview
Paladin Security (Vernon, BC) is looking for six (6) Full-Time Operator – Security Command Centre (NOC 64410)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 32-40 hours per week.
Job Description:
Monitor alarm events, live incidents, and surveillance video
Dispatch emergency services and security staff when needed
Handle after-hours service requests and triage tech/system issues
Maintain detailed incident logs and evidence reports
Operate integrated software platforms (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion)
Manage high-volume communication via phone, email, and internal systems
Conduct daily compliance audits
Remain calm, organized, and professional in high-stress scenarios
Other duties as required to meet operational needs
Job Requirements:
· Basic Security Licence or ability to obtain one
· Must have no police records
· Minimum 19 years old
· Previous experience in a security control centre, security access software, using integrated security systems is an asset
Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office; minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
Positive customer service experience in a professional environment
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
· Language in the workplace is English

· $32.85 per hour
