Security Officers

Overview

Paladin Security (Vernon, BC) is looking for six (6) Full-Time Security Officers (NOC 64410)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 32-40 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Control access to establishments, operate security control-room equipment and patrol assigned areas to guard against theft, vandalism and fire

·         Provide security support for nursing staff in a Healthcare environment

·         Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and to monitor establishment activities

·         Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed

·         Issue passes and direct visitors to appropriate areas, check age identification of patrons, and perform security checks

·         Investigate unlawful acts of employees or patrons of establishments

·         Recommend security systems such as electronic detection devices and access devices.

·         Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments.

 

Job Requirements:

·         Basic Security Licence or ability to obtain one

·         Must have no police records

·         Minimum 19 years old

·         Previous experience as a Security Officer is an asset

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         $22.75 per hour base pay, plus applicable site rates = up to $32.85 per hour

·         Overtime offered

·         As applicable, mileage/travel time

Will be assigned to client sites in Vernon, BC V1T
