Wage: $20.00/hour, 30-40 hours per week.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: On-the-job training. Previous experience in food service is an asset.

Job Duties:

·         Take customers’ orders

·         Serve customers at counters

·         Receive payment for food items purchased

·         Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties

·         Use food prep equipment to prepare fast food items such as sandwiches, fries, salads, smoothies, and other beverages

·         Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food

·         Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances

·         Stock refrigerators and keep records of the quantities of food used
