Vineyard Workers

Overview

Mayans Vineyard Development is looking for 15 Full-Time Vineyard Workers (NOC 85101)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40+ hours per week, $18.63/hour.

Job Description:

·         Prepare and irrigate soil in vineyard areas

·         Assist with planting and maintaining grapevines

·         Install and maintain basic irrigation lines and components

·         Assist with installing and maintaining vineyard trellis systems and fencing

·         Pick and harvest grapes by hand

·         Sort, weigh, and pack harvested grapes at the vineyard

·         Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and harvested grapes for transport

·         Clean and sanitize picking bins, trays, and work areas

·         Perform general cleanup of vineyard, growing, and packing areas

·         Assist with routine vineyard maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment

·         Assist with pruning, thinning, and basic vine training under supervision.

Job Requirements:

·         Must be willing to work outdoors and travel to different vineyards.

·         Language in the workplace is English
