Food Services Manager

Overview

Lemongrass Vietnamese Restaurant is looking for a Full-Time Food Services Manager (NOC 62020) to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week, $30.00 to $34.62/hour.

Job Description:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of Lemongrass Restaurant’s food ser-vices

• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

• Recruit staff and oversee staff training

• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices

• Resolve customer complaints

• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in food service, with supervisory or chef experience

• Experience in Asian cuisine is an asset

• Language in the workplace is English – Basic English/ESL is ok
