Position: Cook (NOC 63200)

 

Wage: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Extended health and dental benefits offered.

 

Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Location: La Bussola Restaurant, 1451 Ellis Street, Kelowna BC V1Y 2A3.

 

La Bussola Restaurant is an award winning and family owned and operated business with expertise in Italian cuisine since 1974. From the Valle dell’Angelo of Italy and brought here to the heart of the downtown Kelowna. We craft traditional Italian meals made with the finest local ingredients as well as an extensive wine list including both Italian and Okanagan Wines.

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods as per La Bussola Restaurant standards.

·         Determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements, check inventory levels.

·         Monitor and order supplies.

·         Report to the Sous-chef.

·         Clean and maintain kitchen and work area.

 

Requirements:

·         Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Cook.

·         Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts is an asset

·         Experience in Italian and European cuisine is considered a strong asset.
