Construction Labourers

Overview

Elmco Construction Ltd is looking for two (2) Full-Time Construction Labourers (NOC 75110)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $27.00/hour.

Job Description:

·         Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas

·         Scrape and oil concrete forms

·         Load and unload trucks

·         Help customers with their orders

·         Cut and drill plywood

·         Assist tradespersons in construction activities

·         Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment

·         Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed

·         Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps

·         Clean up work area

·         Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment

·         Direct traffic at or near construction sites

·         Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Job Requirements:

·         Must be physically able to do construction work

·         Previous construction experience is an asset, but not required

·         Language in the workplace is English

Job Location:

Various worksites in the Okanagan area. Office is located in 1171 10th Street, Salmon Arm, BC V1E 1T2
