Bakers

Overview

Bliss Bakery is looking for three Full-Time Bakers (NOC 63202)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 32-40 hours per week, $20.00 to $20.50/hour (negotiable), with benefits.

Job Description:

·         Prepare dough and batters bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders. Prepare and bake croissants

·         Bake mixed doughs and batters

·         Ensure quality of products meets established standards

·         Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce

·         Purchase baking supplies

·         May assist in training and supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff.

·         Prepare and decorate special occasion cookies, cupcakes and cakes

·         May assist in delivery of products to our stores and for catering

 

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2-3 years of commercial baking experience

·         Some experience or knowledge in scratch baking is an asset

·         The schedule is typically 11pm to 7am and we operate 7 days a week, must have flexibility

·         Language in the workplace is English
