arc programs is looking for a Full-Time Executive Director of Services at the Family Connection Centre (NOC 00013). This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Establish organizational objectives and lead the strategic planning, development and evaluation of clinical and community service programs across the Family Connection Centre.
• Develop, approve and implement organizational policies, operational frameworks and service delivery standards.
• Authorize, direct and coordinate multiple clinical, operational and administrative departments, ensuring effective integration of multidisciplinary services.
• Provide executive leadership to middle and senior managers responsible for clinical, therapeutic and community support programs, overseeing more than 80 internal and contracted professionals.
• Allocate human, financial and material resources to ensure efficient service delivery, organizational sustainability and compliance with applicable legislation.
• Lead organizational planning, workforce planning and succession planning for management positions.
• Recruit, mentor and evaluate managers, directors and senior leadership personnel.
• Oversee organizational performance through strategic planning, quality assurance, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Represent the organization in negotiations with government agencies, community organizations, Indigenous partners, health authorities and external stakeholders.
• Lead the development of new service delivery models, including integrated clinical intake systems and multidisciplinary community programs.
• Approve major operational initiatives, service expansions and organizational change projects.
• Ensure compliance with provincial legislation, accreditation standards, contractual obligations and organizational governance requirements.
Job Requirements:
• University degree or college diploma in business administration, hospital administration, finance or other discipline related to the service provided
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a middle manager in a related institution or organization
• Excellent oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communications skills and proficient report writing and record keeping abilities.
• Experience in policy, legislation and practice for Children and Youth with Support Needs (disability, neurodiversity, and developmental needs).
• Experience working in Centre based models, health care or hospital triage models.
• In-depth working knowledge of supporting individuals with neurodiversity, disability and developmental support needs, as well as knowledge of applicable legislation, policies, and issues impacting agency-community relations.
• In-depth working knowledge of the specific programs and services provided by the agency and the FCC, applicable legislation and policies, and issues impacting agency-community relations
• Be well-versed in trauma-informed care.
• Be skilled at establishing trusting relationships with children, youth, and families / caregivers
• Have a strong understanding of strengths-based systems and attachment-based support.
• Have excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Have knowledge of and experience with conflict resolution and stress de-briefing techniques.
• Function effectively both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced working environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Language in the workplace is English.
We offer:
• $8,333.33 – $8,650.00 per month based on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits package after 90 days of work.
