447194 BC Ltd dba Home Instead is looking for a Full-Time Home Care Service Manager (NOC 60040)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Reflect the core values of 447194 BC Ltd., (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise).

·         Achieve the annual operational plan’s revenues, gross profit, profitability, and other operational goals by the stated milestones.

·         Provide leadership and management of all Home Instead® departments such as finance, human resources, client services, WorkSafe and home care sales which affect operational efficiency and achievement of the operational goals.

·         Lead staff forecasting and workforce planning to ensure appropriate coverage based on client care needs and service demand.

·         Manage outcomes of all department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals.

·         Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with referral sources in the community, client and family members, and Care Professionals.

·         Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to all employees.

·         Process and manage payroll, invoicing, benefits, petty cash, and receipts,

·         Audit and Achieve Franchise Standards for onboarding, and client care.

·         Adhere to Employment Standards.

·         Maintain and establish strong relationships with neighboring franchise owners.

·         Maintain and establish strong relationships with the Home Instead, Inc. Business Performance team.

·         Perform all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary for the successful operation of a Home Instead franchise office.

·         Participate in On Call requirements.

·         Step into Key Player roles as required.

·         Procure office supplies, PPE, and training supplies.

·         Ensure functionality of office equipment, phone systems, and emergency fire preparedness.

·         Fill in Care Professional shifts when needed.

 

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2 years of Home Care Manager experience or related

·         Valid driver’s license is an asset

·         Must know how to conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps, develop training plans, and enhance caregiver performance.

·         Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.

·         Must have the ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills is essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making.

·         Language in the workplace is English

Job Location:

Home Instead – #102 – 546 Leon Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6J6. May be asked to report to client sites around Kelowna, BC.
