Carpenter/Framer

Overview

Valley Pool & Spa is looking for a Full-Time Carpenter/Framer (NOC 72310)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $32.00/hour, with benefits.

Job Description:

·         Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

·         Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

·         Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

·         Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

·         Supervise apprentices and other construction workers

 

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of experience as a Carpenter/Framer

·         Language in the workplace is English
