Senior Barbers

Overview

Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop is looking for four (4) Full-Time Senior Barbers (NOC 63210)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences

·         Shave and trim beards and moustaches

·         May shampoo hair and provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and may also provide scalp conditioning massages

·         Suggest hairstyle compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences

·         Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair

·         Book appointments and order supplies

Job Requirements:

·         Completion of a seven-month to one-year apprenticeship or other barber program; or equivalent

·         Ontario Hairstylist Trade Certificate or ability to obtain one

·         Great customer service skills – can you go above and beyond for every guest, every time

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         Paid service dollars and tips; or guaranteed minimum salary of $58,000 annually; whichever is greater.

·         Gratuities, commission on products sold, bonuses
