Barbershop Manager

Overview

Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop is looking for a Full-Time Barbershop Manager (NOC 60040)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 32 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Manage all barbers and staff at the store, providing leadership, guidance, and direction to ensure smooth daily operations.

·         Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with business goals and standards set by Siyanda (franchise) and Tommy Gun’s head office.

·         Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the full operations of Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop Red Deer, including workflow management and service quality.

·         Make high-level operational decisions and monitor performance to ensure business targets and productivity benchmarks are consistently met.

·         Plan and control the store’s budget, inventory, supplies, and resource allocation.

·         Respond to client inquiries or complaints and resolve issues efficiently to maintain a strong customer experience.

·         Manage contracts and oversee advertising and marketing initiatives to support brand visibility and local growth.

·         Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff, ensuring ongoing professional development and strong team performance.

·         As needed, perform barbering services including cutting, styling, shaving, and other grooming tasks to support operations during busy periods or staff shortages.

 

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 1-3 years of barbering, hairdressing, or salon experience

·         College diploma or vocational certificate in barbering is an asset

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         Paid service dollars and tips; or guaranteed minimum salary of $63,000 annually; whichever is greater.

·         Gratuities, commission on products sold
