Overview
Roof Doctor is looking for a Full-Time Flat Roofing Estimator (NOC 73110)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $41.55/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
· Visit commercial and industrial properties to assess existing roofing systems and project requirements
· Prepare accurate estimates, scopes of work, and professional proposals
· Perform material and labour takeoffs
· Identify roofing deficiencies, maintenance requirements, and potential project opportunities
· Develop repair, maintenance, replacement, and new construction proposals
· Communicate directly with building owners, property managers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
· Follow up on estimates and actively manage the sales process
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships
· Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
· Review plans, specifications, drawings, and tender documents
· Coordinate with project managers and production teams to ensure accurate project handoffs
· Maintain accurate opportunity, estimate, and customer information
· Help identify opportunities for additional work with existing customers
· Ensure estimates are commercially sound and support company profitability
· Stay current with roofing products, systems, installation methods, and industry practices
Job Requirements:
· Completion of a college program in civil or construction engineering technology, or several years of experience in roofing or construction estimating
· Language in the workplace is English
