Overview

Bai Tong Thai Kelowna is looking for a Full-Time Manager (NOC 60030)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $36.70/hour.

Job Description:

·         Plan, organize and oversee daily restaurant operations.

·         Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and kitchen staff.

·         Recruit, train, schedule and evaluate employees.

·         Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints.

·         Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation of Thai dishes.

·         Coordinate dining room and kitchen operations to ensure timely service.

·         Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation and workplace safety regulations.

·         Order and manage inventory of food, beverages and kitchen supplies.

·         Control labour, food and operating costs to meet budget targets.

·         Assist with menu planning, pricing and promotional activities.

·         Prepare sales reports, reconcile cash and oversee daily financial procedures.

·         Maintain supplier relationships and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.

·         Support kitchen operations during busy periods, including food prep, plating and quality checks.

 

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector

·         Completion of a college or other program in hospitality, food and beverage service management, culinary, or related

·         Language in the workplace is English
