Roofer

Overview

KC’s Contracting & Custom Torchworks is looking for an experienced Roofer (NOC 73110)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week, $37.00/hour, with benefits.

Job Description:

•         Install, repair, and replace built-up, single-ply, metal, and shingle roofing systems

•         Measure, cut, and fit roofing materials to ensure proper alignment, sealing, and durability

•         Install and fabricate sheet metal flashings and related components

•         Inspect roofs, diagnose issues, and perform effective repairs

•         Apply waterproof coatings to concrete and masonry surfaces

•         Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan roofing work

•         Ensure compliance with safety standards, including fall protection and safe access setup

•         Supervise and guide junior roofers to maintain work quality and efficiency

•         Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3-5 years of related roofing or construction experience

·         Must be physically fit to be able to do job duties

·         Must have aptitude with tools

·         Language in the workplace is English
