Victoria Hyundai is looking for a Full-Time Assistant Service Manager (NOC 60020)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Assist the Service Manager in planning and coordinating the daily operations of the service department and provide leadership and guidance to the service team in the Service Manager’s absence.

·         Manage technicians and service advisors; provide training, assist with hiring, and support performance management.

·         Assist in assigning duties to the service team and liaise with technicians to ensure proper workflow.

·         Prepare daily reports and ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

·         Keep service department forms, menus, and pricing guides up to date.

·         Ensure customers are greeted in a timely, friendly manner both in person and on the phone.

·         Maintain and develop an excellent customer experience and relationships while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.

·         Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.

·         Refer to service history, inspect vehicles, and recommend additional needed maintenance and repair services.

·         Provide complete and accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts.

·         Contact customers regarding any changes in estimates or promised completion times and explain cost and time requirements in detail.

·         Recommend and sell maintenance and repair services to customers and follow up on unsold work.

·         Explain completed work and all charges to customers.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum completion of a university degree or college diploma in business administration or related experience

·         Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive service/sales advisor, with some leadership capacity

·         Outgoing & a strong desire to serve people

·         Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

·         Knowledge of PBS and basic computer applications like Microsoft Office

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Detail oriented and able to work under pressure.

·         Language in the workplace is English

·         Commission and bonus structure; or guaranteed minimum salary of $7,000 monthly, whichever is greater.
