Finish Carpenter

Overview

Mataj Homes is looking for a Full-Time Finish Carpenter (NOC 72310)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $37.00 to $37.50/hour.

Job Description:

·         Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware

·         Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

·         Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

·         Install cabinets, shelving, and built-ins

·         Sand, plane, and adjust materials for a clean finish

·         Repair or replace damaged trim and finish work

·         Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently

·         Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of related finishing construction work experience

·         Language in the workplace is English
