Painter

Overview

Pro Touch Enterprises Ltd is looking for a Full-Time Painter (NOC 73112)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week, $35.00 to $37.00/hour, with benefits.

Job Description:

·         Apply paint or other materials, such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, fibreglass, metal coating or fire retardant using brushes, rollers or spray equipment

·         Knowledge of different wood restoration techniques

·         Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required

·         Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, sandblasting; remove old wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; wood restoration; and sandpaper and apply sealer

·         Measure, cut and apply wallpaper or fabric to walls

·         Assemble and erect scaffolding and swing stages, operate boom lift

·         May advise customer on selection of colour schemes and choice of wall coverings

·         May provide cost estimates to clients.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of experience as a painter (construction) or related

·         Must have attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination

·         Language in the workplace is English
