Construction Site Supervisors – Interior Finishing

Overview

Mataj Homes is looking for two (2) Full-Time Construction Site Supervisors – Interior Finishing (NOC 72014)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $36.60/hour.

Job Description:

·         Supervise, coordinate, and schedule finishing-trade construction activities, including tile installation, painting, cabinetry, drywall, and prefabricated interior products

·         Coordinate work activities with other trades and subcontractors to meet project schedules

·         Ensure quality control, proper fit, finish, alignment, and adherence to specifications

·         Resolve work issues and recommend improvements to productivity and workmanship quality

·         Requisition materials and supplies and maintain a clean, safe work area

·         Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies; prepare basic work progress reports

·         Install cabinets, millwork, trim, hardware, and fixtures according to plans and specifications (non-structural)

·         Perform tile installation (walls, floors, backsplashes), including surface preparation and grouting

·         Complete painting and surface finishing, including preparation, priming, and final coats

·         Perform minor drywall installation and repairs, including patching, taping, and sanding.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of related finishing construction work experience

·         Completion of High School or related

·         Language in the workplace is English
