Concrete Finishers

Overview

Carmacks Enterprises Ltd is looking for ten (10) Full-Time Concrete Finishers (NOC 73100)! This is a full-time, seasonal position with 44 hours per week.

Anticipated start date is Spring 2026.

Job Description:

·         Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade

·         Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete

·         Operate power vibrator to compact concrete

·         Level top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications using straightedge or float

·         Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools

·         Install fixtures in freshly poured concrete

·         Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete

·         Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces

·         Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of roads and other concrete structures.

 

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of experience as Concrete Finisher

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         $32.00 to $36.00 per hour, 44 hours per week

·         Emergency travel benefits

·         Travel expenses to various worksites are paid by the employer

Various work sites throughout Alberta. Office located at 701 25 Avenue, Nisku, AB T9E 0C1
