Food Services Manager

Overview

Bamboo Chopsticks Vietnamese Restaurant in West Kelowna is looking for a Full-Time Food Services Manager (NOC 60030) to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $34.00 to 36.60/hour.

Job Description:

·         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of Bamboo Chopsticks Westbank

·         Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

·         Recruit staff and oversee staff training

·         Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

·         Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices

·         Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed

·         Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

·         Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service/restaurant industry

·         Language in the workplace is English
