Overview

Hearthstone Manor Residential Care Facility is looking for a Full-Time Cook (NOC 63200)! This is a full-time, year-round position with minimum 30 hours per week, $21.50 to $22.50/hour, with benefits.

Job Description:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

·         Prepare and cook special meals for senior residents as instructed by dietitian or nutritionist

·         Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers

·         Manage kitchen operations

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

·         Clean kitchen and work area

·         Must be able to plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

·         May hire and train kitchen staff.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2 years of experience as Cook

·         Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position

·         Immunization Records, criminal check, and TB test to be all clear

·         Language in the workplace is English
