Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs, Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.

Recruit and hire staff, Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and special functions.

Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs.

Maintain records of food costs, consumption, and sales and inventory.

Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.

Clean and sanitize, Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, Create new recipes.
