– Be a hands-on leader who motivates your team to deliver the best possible culinary experience day in and day out

– Development of staff meals that are appealing, cost effective and deliverable

– Execution of guest menu, alternative menu and guest requests

– Scheduling

-Ordering inventory (Sysco Foods, Mondays & Thursdays)

– Prepare and cook special meals for guests with dietary requirements including allergies, intolerances and special requests

– Work within planned forecast in regards to food portions, food requirements and costs, and minimize waste and spoilage

– Must be able to multi-task, manage multiple priorities and succeed in a high-pressured environment

– Have solid knowledge of WHMIS, first aid, all health & safety standards and maintain these standards at all times, resulting in a clean, healthy & happy workplace

– Able to interact with guests in a professional manner (nightly dinner tables & buffets)

– Attends and participates in weekly management meetings/ team building

– Establish quality control and service standards for all menu items prepared for our guests and staff

– Ensure proper ordering, inventory receipt and control measures are in place and adhered to by all kitchen staff involved with this process
