Service Manager

Overview

The Keg Peterborough is looking for a Full-Time Service Manager (NOC 60030)! This is a full-time, permanent position, working 30 hours per week.

Job Description:

·         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the food services operations of the Keg Sudbury

·         Implement the standard of High Impact Floor Management (HIFM) in regard to opening, hot spots, “figure B’s”, and interacting with guests

·         Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to staff

·         Handle guest complaints and interact with guests through Keg hospitality

·         Analyze operational performance, including food cost, labor cost, and customer satisfaction, and implement strategies for continuous improvement

·         Maintain and update staff opening and closing checklist process in consultation with Departmental Managers

·         Verify staff in-times and make adjustments to staffing levels in relation to reservation loads

·         Ensure end-of-night standards are maintained and constant communication of guest flow to ensure waste is minimized

·         Ensure all Managers and Floorwalkers are up to date with any changes to, or on, Keg World

·         Implement and follow up with all Corporate Initiatives and Standards

·         Monitor Keg standards for adherence and accuracy and follow-up when required

·         Host staff shift meetings (minimum 2 per week) and keep notes on file for reference

·         Conduct meetings (as required) to sample and discuss features, operational initiatives, service strategy, etc.

·         Clear communication of labour issues or suggestions in OneNote to improve service/labour costs

·         Manage daily labour costs without compromising guest satisfaction or Keg standards

·         Champion Health and Safety meetings, managing staff first-aid certifications in addition to internal supplies.

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of related experience in the food service sector

·         Education or training hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset

·         Must be available to work evenings and weekends

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         Annual salary of $56,160
