Alpine 24/7 Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician
Assistant to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate will support our
veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing exceptional care to our animal
patients. This role requires a passion for animal care, strong communication skills, and the
ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Document animal behaviour
• Prepare food and feed animals
• Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
• Keep records of animals treated
• Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals
• Maintain and order supplies
• Provide flea bath treatments to animals
• Co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses and other staff
• Clean and sterilize the operating room and instruments
• Clean work area
