Landscaping Supervisors

Overview

Newstart Landscaping and Contracting Ltd is looking for two (2) Full-Time Landscaping Supervisors (NOC 82031)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $28.00 per hour.

Job Description:

·         Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work

·         Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns

·         Organize and direct construction of fences, decks and walls

·         Plan and direct grounds maintenance

·         Resolve work related problems

·         Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

·         Repair and maintain equipment

·         Supervise landscaping workers

·         Drive heavy duty equipment (excavator, bobcat, tractor quads)

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum 2-3 years of experience in landscaping, specializing in landscaping and irrigation work

·         BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence (or equivalent) is an asset

·         Basic English required

Job Location:

Various sites in South Okanagan area. Reporting to 1057 Morningstar Road, Oliver, BC V0H 1T6
