Specific Skills

Interact effectively with resort guests and co-workers to create a positive experience, Monitor, respond, and process guests’ online feedback of hotel, Handle guest registration and room assignments; accommodating special requests whenever possible in a timely manner, Process group and individual arrivals and departures
Take, cancel, and change room reservations, Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions, and other functions, Answer all incoming phone calls in a professional manner, Ensure privacy of guests, Provide information on resort facilities and services with hours of operation, Share general information on points of interest in the area and services in the community, Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payment, Oversee all accounting practices are being completed properly by regular audits of our reporting systems conducted by Night Auditors, Complete the daily Front Desk duty sheet, Provide supervision of Guest Service Agents (in the absence of General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Guest Services Manager), Provide training of Guest Service Agents, Oversee all reservations, groups, proposals, and revenue management tasks as directed by the General Manager, Supervise staff to ensure maximization of revenues and control of expenses, Assist the General Manager with Accounts Receivable, including company credit applications, invoicing, and collections
Complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager
