Post-Harvest Associate – Production Workers

Overview

Dycar Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is a licensed producer of premium recreational and medical cannabis and we are looking to add five (5) experienced Post-Harvest Associate – Production Workers (NOC 95106) to our amazing team in our production facility located in beautiful Cranbrook, BC.

This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week (M-F, 8 hours per day).

Job Description:

·         Bulk and consumer packaging of cannabis.

·         Complete forms and records entry.

·         Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all processing activities to ensure regulatory compliancy, and to achieve consistent and high-quality products.

·         Regularly clean and sanitize equipment and production areas.

·         Maintain a tidy workspace and display a high standard of cleanliness.

·         Other duties as assigned by the Manager, including cultivation, maintenance and facility sanitation activities.

Job Requirements:

·         Must be 19 years of age or older

·         Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check

·         Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is considered an asset but not required

·         Effective written and verbal English communication skills; ability to follow detailed operating procedures in accordance with Health Canada

·         Ability to perform physical tasks required for an 8-hour shift period (8 -hour shifts are currently the standard, however in the future some shifts may be scheduled for 10-hours), including but not limited to: standing, walking, bending/reaching (repetitive), pushing/pulling, lifting (up to 15 kgs), and squatting

·         Ability to work in environments with warm temperature and high humidity, and variable lighting (from very bright to dark)

·         Ability to wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to medical gloves, safety eyewear, face masks and hair/beard nets

·         Ability to frequently work with cleaning products including, but not limited to, industrial cleaners and Isopropyl Alcohol

·         This position will involve significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials and is therefore not likely suitable for anyone that may suffer from allergies to cannabis, or for anyone that experiences medical issues such as asthma or hay fever as a result of exposure to cannabis/plant materials. Not suitable for those with pain or tendinitis from performing repetitive motions

·         Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

·         $20.00 per hour, 40 hours per week

·         After 3 months: dental and extended medical benefits

·         Potential overtime
