Hotel Manager – Night Shift

Overview

Best Western Williams Lake is looking for a Full-Time Hotel Manager – Night Shift (NOC 60031)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $34.62/hour.

Job Description:

• Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures of Best Western Williams Lake

• Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions and other functions

• Oversee night-time operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and any billing or pay-ment issues

• Ensure that all necessary reports are completed, such as accounting or sales reports for the day

• Monitor hotel systems (e.g., reservations, POS, and room management systems) to ensure eve-rything is functioning properly

• Complete daily shift reports, outlining room occupancy, revenue, guest complaints, and any other significant occurrences

• Prepare and reconcile financial reports for the day’s operations, ensuring that all transactions are properly accounted for

• Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses

• Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies

• Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies

• Recruit and supervise staff, oversee training and set work schedules

• Resolve customer complaints

• Respond quickly and efficiently to any emergencies that arise, whether they be medical, fire, se-curity, or maintenance-related

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant hotel industry experience

• Must be willing to work graveyard shift

• Language in the workplace is English
