Specialty Chef

Overview

Bamboo Chopsticks Foods & Supplies is looking for two (2) Full-Time Speciality Chefs (NOC 62200) to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week.

Job Description:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods, such as pastries, sauces, soups, salads, vegetables and meat, poultry and fish dishes – at our kitchen facility supplying our other restau-rants

• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff

• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

• Create new recipes

• Plan menus and requisition food and kitchen supplies

• Supervise activities of cooks and other kitchen workers

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a cook/chef

• Must be knowledgeable in Asian/Vietnamese cuisine

• Language in the workplace is English

We offer:

• $2,770 semi-monthly
