Overview
We are looking for a full-time Home Support Worker (36-48 hours per week).
Requirements:
– must have home care experience or a nursing background from their country of origin.
– at least have a medical administration certificate
– must know how to do vital signs and respond to emergencies.
– First Aid and CPR certification
– compassionate, caring, Honest, neat and clean, cheerful, team player, PUNCTUAL and trustworthy.
– have reliable transportation to work to NW Calgary (client’s residence).
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES but are not limited to:
– Personal client care.
– Enteral tube feeding.
– Oral, nasal, or deep suctioning
– Seizure monitoring and management
– Medication preparation and administration Respiratory monitoring and management.
– Preparing Feeding.
– Perform assessment and check vital signs.
– Assist in daily school activities and other afternoon programs.
– Responsible for charting, documentation, and updating client’s records.
– Responsible for cleaning and tidying the client’s bedroom /activity room.

Salary: Between $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 10-hour shift
